4th Day @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

street-19

The thing I love about Fashion Week isn’t just about the new designs that come down Runways in different venues but some of the hottest fashion can be captured right outside.  So, today I decided to take a break from the inside of the Lincoln Center, schedules of designers shows, and crowded photo pits (I love all of it) and I found myself outside checking out the hottest fashions as they walked by.  I am thankful for all of those who allowed me to take their pictures and hope you see your photo in this blog.  I even had a couple of celebrity sightings including star stylist June Ambrose, who really is personable the way she carries herself to the public.  I got a chance to take a picture of a pink fairy…no pun intended.  I had planned to go home today but something inside of me (God) told me to stay another day.  I’m so glad I did because shooting street fashion was the culmination of a great weekend and another Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  See you in September!!!

3rd Day @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Last nights show for fashion designer Stace Sherri was amazing…she did a great job and her designs were killing.  It was a breath of fresh air being able to shoot outside of the Lincoln Center and the house was packed with all kinds celebs including Dwight Eubanks from previous seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta.  Check out some of her new fashion and if you would like to see more go to her website at www.stacisherri.com. Well, let me get ready for whatever shows I have to shoot next.  See ya soon.

2nd Day @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

It has been an awesome time in New York and even when you think one door has closed you are able to watch God open up three more.  I have already shot 4 shows and have at least 2 more today.  Things are going great and the fashion is on point.  I was in attendance at designer Monique Lhuillier but got there late.  I ended up having to shoot from the audience instead of the photography pit but still got some nice shots…hope you enjoy.  The last show for the day was designer Venexenia and her clothes were amazing.  Getting set for later on today to photograph the designs of Staci Sherri at NY Fashion Week…check out her website at www.stacisherri.com.

1st Day @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

I love taking pictures but I really love taking pictures of fashion.   Yesterday I arrived in New York for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week with one goal in mind…taking pictures of fantastic fashion.  It started with the Academy of Art, where they showcased the talents of their top students and then I went over to photograph the designers PopLuxe.  It was a great night and here are just a few of the photos from both.  Come back later to see what else I’ve had an opportunity to capture on camera.

Welcome to Bill Lee Photography
I have been Real Life Photos for the last 14 years but sometimes you have to make a change. Not always because you have to but because you feel like you need to. Real Life Photos was my baby. I learned how to become a photographer with a lot of trial and error in the beginning but I kept working at it…Real Life Photos never gave up on me. But as years went by and different things have taken place in my life I realize I’m a different person, expressing myself in different ways, and it was time to make a change.
Bill Lee Photography is that change. It’s a new me, at a new time, in a new place, and expecting to accomplish and achieve some new things. I’m excited and ready for what this change will bring…new opportunities, new clients, and new possibilities. I’m thankful that God has given me this vision and look forward to how it will continue to unfold. I’m thankful for every previous client that has allowed me to photograph them, thankful for family that has believed in me, and thankful for everyone that has supported me over the years.
Bill Lee Photography is my new beginning and if you are reading this blog posting you are right here at the beginning with me.
